ADMIRAL Training Centre has approved the BSS course plan and program in accordance with IMO Resolution MSC.560(108)

“ADMIRAL” Training Centre has officially approved the course plan and program for the Basic Safety Training (BST) in compliance with the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Resolution MSC.560(108).
According to the Resolution adopted on 23 May 2024, amendments were made to Part A, Chapter VI of the STCW Code, expanding seafarers’ competencies in the areas of preventing and responding to violence, harassment, bullying, and sexual assault on board ships.
Ukrainian national legislation obliges maritime training institutions to update their training programs in line with international requirements.
“ADMIRAL” was among the first to align its programs with the new IMO standards, having obtained official approval from the State Service for Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine (Maritime Administration).
Currently, in the List of Maritime Training Institutions published on the official website of the Maritime Administration, “ADMIRAL” Training Centre is listed among the institutions that have approved training programs in accordance with IMO Resolution MSC.560(108).
