Bunkering Operations and Management

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of sections A-III/2, A-VIII/2 (parts 3, 4, 4-2), B-I/12 (paragraph 73), B-VIII/2 (part 4-2) of the STCW Code. The course is carried out in order to: -recovery and consolidation of skills in the use of the entire complex of engine room equipment, control systems and controls of the main power plant (hereinafter - MPP) and auxiliary mechanical equipment to ensure safe movement, maneuvering of the ship and performance of technological operations related to the use of mechanical equipment of the ship in any conditions; -practice work at the management level as part of a watch in the engine room; -development of skills for prompt assessment of the current situation and making optimal decisions on the operation of MPP and auxiliary mechanical equipment in difficult operating and weather conditions; -assessment of competence required by Section A-III/2 of the STCW Code, which is carried out using the Training Equipment, as well as demonstration of the availability of professional skills defined in column 4 of Table A-III/2 of the STCW Code using the Training Equipment.

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the International Code for the Management of the Safe Operation of Ships and Pollution Prevention (IMO Resolution A.741.(18)), Chapter IX of SOLAS-74 The course is prepared in order to: -provide students with knowledge of ship safety management, safety of human life at sea and prevention of marine pollution, prevention of human injury or casualties, accidents; -avoidance of damage to the environment and property in accordance with the STCW Code. - inform the students about the role and responsibilities of the safety officer on board and the role he/she plays in the management of safety on board.

The training is carried out in accordance with clause 2.1.6 of Chapter 2 and Chapter 12, Part A of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), regulation VI/5 of the STCW Convention and section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code. The course is prepared in order to: -conduct regular inspections of the ship security organization in order to ensure appropriate measures and levels of security (protection) of the ship; -management of measures to implement and execute the ship security plan, making adjustments and changes to it -coordination of actions of ship's personnel and port (port facility) security officers during cargo handling and ship's supply; -analysis of the ship security plan and preparation of proposals for its modernization; -Report to the company security officer on any deficiencies and non-compliances identified during internal audits, periodic security reviews and inspections and the measures taken to eliminate them; -work with the ship's crew to enhance security and vigilance on board the vessel; -conduct theoretical and practical training with ship's personnel on the issues of ensuring safety and security of the vessel; -report on all incidents of ship security breaches and attempted incidents; -coordinat its actions with the security officers of the company and the port facility in the application of the ship security plan; Ensure trouble-free operation of technical security equipment, their scheduled inspections and repairs, and maintaining them; -apply protective measures to counteract pirate attacks

Course assignment The STCW Designated Security Duties course takes one days to complete. After successful completion the student is awarded with the STCW (A-VI/6-2) certificate, which is valid for 5 years. Course Content: Security services, including piracy and armed robbery. How to recognize security breaches and threats. Security threat procedures. Inspection of security equipment. Updating and check of Ship Security Plan. The target audience: The STCW Designated Security Duties training (DSD) is aimed at all maritime personal, with exception of the Ship Security Officer, who is responsible for specific safety tasks. After completion of the STCW Designated Security training, the participant will be able to carry out assigned safety procedures. The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Rule V/1-1, V/1-2 of the STCW 78 Convention, sections A-V/1-1, A-V/1-2, B-I/12 (clause 71) of the STCW 78 Code. The course is prepared in order to: - use the simulator to acquire the necessary skills in loading and unloading liquid cargo, as well as ballast operations; - improve their skills in tanker operations, acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work in a team in various roles.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/2 (paragraph 2) of STCW Convention, Section A-VI/2 (paragraphs 7-10), Table A-VI/2-2 and the guidance given in Part B of the STCW Code. The course is carried out in order to: -Possess/update and supplementing theoretical knowledge and practical skills of ship's officers in management; -Organizing the use of fast rescue boats and understanding their role and responsibility in the system of ensuring safety of human life at sea in emergency situations and during operational and training usage of ship's life-saving equipment.
