This one-day course is designed to familiarize participants with cyber risk management in ship security management systems. Students of the course will gain knowledge of cyber risk assessment, focusing on issues such as typical cyber attacks and how personnel can contribute to the cyber security of a vessel. The developed course raises awareness of threats and countermeasures, affects the cyber security management system, encouraging good cyber hygiene of the crew. The course explains in simple steps how and where cyberattacks can target embedded software in various technological systems and how to counter them.
The one-day course is aimed for all ship’s staff.
