Advanced Fire Fighting

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the standards set out in paragraphs 1-4 of Section A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code.
The course is prepared with the aim of:
-Training in correct, quick and consistent actions in fighting fires on ships in conditions as close to real as possible, as well as developing confidence and readiness to act in extreme conditions involving a threat to life
-to teach students to confidently use firefighting equipment and confidently recognize the typical IMO firefighting symbols used on ships;
-Developing students' practical skills in firefighting techniques and methods;
-Providing or updating skills in fire extinguishing with portable fire extinguishing equipment;
-Provision of psychological training of students to fight fire on board;
-checking the level of knowledge and skills of the trainees regarding actions in case of fire after theoretical and practical training.

To register for a training course, you must provide copies of the following documents:

1. Ukrainian passport (1st, 2nd, 3d page and registration), or ID card (pages 1 and 2 and extract), or permanent/temporary residence permit;

2. Taxpayer registration number (VAT identification number) / (formerly identification number)

3. Working diploma with confirmation (for cadets: certificate from an educational institution, or cadet ticket, or record book);

4. Seaman’s identity card (1 page and last voyage);

5. Ukrainian passport for travel abroad (1 page);

6. Medical certificate;

6. Photo 3×4.
