Description

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulations I/11, V/4 of the STCW Convention, as amended by Sections A-I/11 (para. 4), A-1/12, A-V/4 (Table A-V/4-1), B-1/12 (para. 68-70), B-V/g of the STCW Code.
The course is prepared with the aim of:
-Ability to contribute to the safe operation of ships in polar waters
-understanding of ice characteristics and areas where different types of ice can be expected area of operation
-understanding of ship operations in ice and low air temperature conditions
-understanding of safe operation and maneuverability of the ship in ice
-awareness to monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements
-understanding the application of safe working practices and emergency response
-understanding and awareness of proper crew training, working conditions and safety
-understand the need to ensure compliance with pollution prevention requirements and
-prevent environmental hazards and
-understanding of maneuvering skills for safe operation of ships in polar waters.

Required documents:

To register for a training course, you must provide copies of the following documents:

1. Ukrainian passport (1st, 2nd, 3d page and registration), or ID card (pages 1 and 2 and extract), or permanent/temporary residence permit;

2. Taxpayer registration number (VAT identification number) / (formerly identification number)

3. Working diploma with confirmation (for cadets: certificate from an educational institution, or cadet ticket, or record book);

4. Seaman’s identity card (1 page and last voyage);

5. Ukrainian passport for travel abroad (1 page);

6. Medical certificate;

6. Photo 3×4.

The training is carried out in accordance with clause 2.1.6 of Chapter 2 and Chapter 12, Part A of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), regulation VI/5 of the STCW Convention and section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code. The course is prepared in order to: -conduct regular inspections of the ship security organization in order to ensure appropriate measures and levels of security (protection) of the ship; -management of measures to implement and execute the ship security plan, making adjustments and changes to it -coordination of actions of ship's personnel and port (port facility) security officers during cargo handling and ship's supply; -analysis of the ship security plan and preparation of proposals for its modernization; -Report to the company security officer on any deficiencies and non-compliances identified during internal audits, periodic security reviews and inspections and the measures taken to eliminate them; -work with the ship's crew to enhance security and vigilance on board the vessel; -conduct theoretical and practical training with ship's personnel on the issues of ensuring safety and security of the vessel; -report on all incidents of ship security breaches and attempted incidents; -coordinat its actions with the security officers of the company and the port facility in the application of the ship security plan; Ensure trouble-free operation of technical security equipment, their scheduled inspections and repairs, and maintaining them; -apply protective measures to counteract pirate attacks
