Navigator of a pleasure motor vessel with the length less than 24 m on coastal waters and inland waters

Students are trained to achieve the competencies specified in the STCW Code in Tables A-II/1, A-II/2, A-III/1, A-III/2 and A-III/6. The course is prepared in order to: be able to apply leadership skills and work in a team; be able to use the skills of a leader and organizer.

Course assignment The STCW Designated Security Duties course takes one days to complete. After successful completion the student is awarded with the STCW (A-VI/6-2) certificate, which is valid for 5 years. Course Content: Security services, including piracy and armed robbery. How to recognize security breaches and threats. Security threat procedures. Inspection of security equipment. Updating and check of Ship Security Plan. The target audience: The STCW Designated Security Duties training (DSD) is aimed at all maritime personal, with exception of the Ship Security Officer, who is responsible for specific safety tasks. After completion of the STCW Designated Security training, the participant will be able to carry out assigned safety procedures. The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/2 (paragraph 2) of STCW Convention, Section A-VI/2 (paragraphs 7-10), Table A-VI/2-2 and the guidance given in Part B of the STCW Code. The course is carried out in order to: -Possess/update and supplementing theoretical knowledge and practical skills of ship's officers in management; -Organizing the use of fast rescue boats and understanding their role and responsibility in the system of ensuring safety of human life at sea in emergency situations and during operational and training usage of ship's life-saving equipment.

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the standards set out in paragraphs 1-4 of Section A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code. The course is prepared with the aim of: -Training in correct, quick and consistent actions in fighting fires on ships in conditions as close to real as possible, as well as developing confidence and readiness to act in extreme conditions involving a threat to life -to teach students to confidently use firefighting equipment and confidently recognize the typical IMO firefighting symbols used on ships; -Developing students' practical skills in firefighting techniques and methods; -Providing or updating skills in fire extinguishing with portable fire extinguishing equipment; -Provision of psychological training of students to fight fire on board; -checking the level of knowledge and skills of the trainees regarding actions in case of fire after theoretical and practical training.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of STCW Convention 78 and IMO Resolution MEPC.96 (47). The course is prepared in order to: - provide students with the necessary knowledge of ship bunkering, personal safety and marine pollution prevention; - gain basic knowledge of the production, sale and handling of fuel, as well as commercial, financial and economic issues of selling and buying marine fuel.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of STCW Convention 78, as amended by STCW Code 78, SOLAS-1974, ISM Code, MARPOL-1973/78 COLREG-1972, MLC-2006 The course is designed to: -Train students to work in the field of marine risk assessment and its application on ships, -inform ship's officers about the investigation process that is carried out in case of incidents or accidents on board.

Watercraft operator on coastal sea routes (PMSh) and inland waterways (VVSh) Training is based on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of small/recreational vessel operators (MPS) to achieve the necessary competence for the safe operation of a watercraft on PMW and IW, namely the study and acquisition of: – provision of basic theoretical knowledge of navigation; – study of the structure of watercraft; – study of the navigation area and navigation conditions in that area at any time of day and season; – studying navigation rules and rules for preventing collisions between vessels; – studying the dangers associated with navigation; – studying the basics of navigation in weather conditions; – practical training in operating watercraft; – demonstration of knowledge and skills in operating a vessel.
