Description
The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of regulation V/2 (paragraph 9) of the STCW Convention, sections A-V/2 and B-V/2 of the STCW Code
The course is carried out in order to:
-Training students in the necessary measures to prevent unauthorized entry of unauthorized persons and objects onto the ship during the carriage of passengers;
-familiarizing students with emergency plans for passenger ships;
training students to maintain self-control in difficult conditions;
-Training of students in communication with passengers in case of accidents, including in English;
-training in methods of assisting passengers, leading them to places of gathering and boarding rescue equipment;
Training in the procedure for demonstrating to passengers the rules for using individual and collective life-saving equipment;
-training of students in the necessary measures to ensure watertightness of the vessel in case of an accident; loading, unloading or securing cargo; ensuring stability of Ro-Ro passenger vessels;
- reliable closing of openings in the outer hull of Ro-Ro passenger vessels
Required documents:
To register for a training course, you must provide copies of the following documents:
1. Ukrainian passport (1st, 2nd, 3d page and registration), or ID card (pages 1 and 2 and extract), or permanent/temporary residence permit;
2. Taxpayer registration number (VAT identification number) / (formerly identification number)
3. Working diploma with confirmation (for cadets: certificate from an educational institution, or cadet ticket, or record book);
4. Seaman’s identity card (1 page and last voyage);
5. Ukrainian passport for travel abroad (1 page);
6. Medical certificate;
6. Photo 3×4.
