Radar Navigation, Radar Plotting and Use of ARPA (Operational Level)

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation V/1-1 (paragraphs 3 and 4) of the STCW Convention and Section A-V/1-1-2 (paragraph 2) of the STCW Code. Specialized training for shipboard personnel regarding the performance of duties related to the usage of inert gas systems on tankers. This course is based on the requirements of the STCW Code, as amended, in particular Section A-V/1-1 and Table A-V/1-1-2.

The training is carried out in accordance with clause 2.1.6 of Chapter 2 and Chapter 12, Part A of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), regulation VI/5 of the STCW Convention and section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code. The course is prepared in order to: -conduct regular inspections of the ship security organization in order to ensure appropriate measures and levels of security (protection) of the ship; -management of measures to implement and execute the ship security plan, making adjustments and changes to it -coordination of actions of ship's personnel and port (port facility) security officers during cargo handling and ship's supply; -analysis of the ship security plan and preparation of proposals for its modernization; -Report to the company security officer on any deficiencies and non-compliances identified during internal audits, periodic security reviews and inspections and the measures taken to eliminate them; -work with the ship's crew to enhance security and vigilance on board the vessel; -conduct theoretical and practical training with ship's personnel on the issues of ensuring safety and security of the vessel; -report on all incidents of ship security breaches and attempted incidents; -coordinat its actions with the security officers of the company and the port facility in the application of the ship security plan; Ensure trouble-free operation of technical security equipment, their scheduled inspections and repairs, and maintaining them; -apply protective measures to counteract pirate attacks

Course assignment The STCW Designated Security Duties course takes one days to complete. After successful completion the student is awarded with the STCW (A-VI/6-2) certificate, which is valid for 5 years. Course Content: Security services, including piracy and armed robbery. How to recognize security breaches and threats. Security threat procedures. Inspection of security equipment. Updating and check of Ship Security Plan. The target audience: The STCW Designated Security Duties training (DSD) is aimed at all maritime personal, with exception of the Ship Security Officer, who is responsible for specific safety tasks. After completion of the STCW Designated Security training, the participant will be able to carry out assigned safety procedures. The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation I/12 of STCW Convention, Sections A-I/12 (parts 1-2), A-II/1, A-II/2, B-I/12 (paragraphs 68-69) of STCW Code. The course is carried out in order to: -study, renewal and consolidation of skills in the use of the whole complex of radio and electronic navigation equipment of the underway navigation bridge, information navigation systems and controls of the vessel being modeled to ensure safe navigation in all conditions; -practice teamwork on the bridge; -train to carry out a navigational watch in conditions of heavy shipping traffic and in conditions of a limited navigation area, both in daytime and at night, as well as in difficult weather conditions and in limited visibility; -train in maneuvering and controlling the ship in all conditions while navigating in areas with traffic distribution systems and areas controlled by traffic control services, as well as near such areas; -practice watchkeeping in difficult navigational and emergency situations, as well as acquiring skills in interaction with rescue and coordination centers and coastal services involved in emergency situations; -practice watchkeeping during pilotage, mooring operations with or without tugs in various wind, current and tide conditions and during anchoring and unanchoring of the vessel in any conditions; -acquire the minimum knowledge, understanding and professional skills listed in columns 1, 2 of Tables A-II/1, A-II/2 of the STCW Code; -achievement of the standard of competence required in accordance with the methods of demonstration of competence and criteria for assessing competence, which are given in columns 3 and 4 of tables A-II/1, A-II/2 of the STCW Code

The training is carried out in accordance with Regulations III/1, III/2, III/3, III/6 of STCW Convention, as amended by sections A-III/1, A-III/2, A-III/3, A-III/6, B-III/2, B-III/3 of STCW Code. The course is prepared in order to: -Mastering/updating and supplementing theoretical knowledge and practical skills on issues related to the operation of shipboard high voltage power installations, taking into account the requirements of the STCW Code, changes in national and international regulations. -Practical demonstration of achievement of the competence standards specified in column 4 of Table A-III/6 of the STCW Code.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation V/2 of the STCW Convention, Section A-V/2 and B-V/2, Tables A-V/2-1, A-V/2-2 of the STCW Code. The training is carried out in order to: -Gain knowledge of the use of emergency plans to ensure the safety and evacuation of passengers in the event of an emergency -Gain knowledge of the procedure for providing assistance to passengers on the way to the places of collection and boarding of rescue vehicles -Gain knowledge of conducting drills and alarms on passenger ships; -Gain knowledge of maintaining self-control in difficult conditions; -Gain knowledge of maintaining watertightness of the hull of Ro-Ro passenger vessels

Acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in providing medical care in case of accident or sudden illness on board ship in accordance with the requirements of regulation VI/4 of STCW Convention, section A-VI/4, paragraphs 4-6, table A-VI/4-2 and the guidelines given in part B of the STCW Code. Training of students in order to - train in quick, correct and consistent actions to provide first aid or medical care on board a ship to save lives and maintain vital functions until more qualified assistance is available, as well as to develop the confidence and readiness to act in extreme life-threatening conditions; - train in the use of the International Shipboard Medicine Guidelines for timely initial diagnosis, selection of the best method of first aid, treatment and medical care of a sick or injured person on board a ship; - train in certain basic and first aid skills, aspects of medical care and treatment of a sick or injured person on board a ship.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of STCW Convention 78, as amended by STCW Code 78, SOLAS-1974, ISM Code, MARPOL-1973/78 COLREG-1972, MLC-2006 The course is designed to: -Train students to work in the field of marine risk assessment and its application on ships, -inform ship's officers about the investigation process that is carried out in case of incidents or accidents on board.
