Training of Officers and Rating Responsible for Cargo Handling on Ships Carrying Dangerous and Hazardous Substances in Solid Form in Bulk and in Packaged Form

Description

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of sections B-V/b and B-V/c and tables A-II/1, A-II/2, A-II/3, A-II/5 of the ADR Code.
The course is carried out in order to
-teach the application of the rules of safe packaging, handling, storage and separation of dangerous and hazardous goods
-train in the necessary safety measures during cargo operations with dangerous goods
-Train in the application of the requirements of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, as amended (SOLAS-74) for ships engaged in the carriage of dangerous goods;
-train in the application of IMO guidelines for the packaging of cargo transport units;
-train in the application of the IMO recommendation on the safe transport of dangerous goods and related activities in port areas;
-train in the application of the rules for the handling of dangerous goods in packaged form on board ships during transportation;
-train in the application of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG-Code);
-train in the application of the International Maritime Shipping Code for Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC Code);
-Train in the application of the International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk (IBC Code);
-train in the application of the rules of first aid on ships in case of accidents involving dangerous goods

Required documents:

To register for a training course, you must provide copies of the following documents:

1. Ukrainian passport (1st, 2nd, 3d page and registration), or ID card (pages 1 and 2 and extract), or permanent/temporary residence permit;

2. Taxpayer registration number (VAT identification number) / (formerly identification number)

3. Working diploma with confirmation (for cadets: certificate from an educational institution, or cadet ticket, or record book);

4. Seaman’s identity card (1 page and last voyage);

5. Ukrainian passport for travel abroad (1 page);

6. Medical certificate;

6. Photo 3×4.

The training is carried out in accordance with clause 2.1.6 of Chapter 2 and Chapter 12, Part A of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), regulation VI/5 of the STCW Convention and section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code. Security-Related Training and Instruction for All Seafarers
The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of regulation VI/6 (paragraphs 1, 2) of the STCW Convention, section A-VI/6 (paragraphs 1-4), table A-VI/6-1 and the guidance given in Part B of the STCW Code.
