Navigator of a pleasure sailing vessel, with the length less than 8,5 m and sail area less than 30 m² on coastal waters and inland waters

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation V/1-1 (paragraphs 3, 4) of the STCW Convention, Section A-V/1-1-2 (paragraph 2) of the STCW Code. The course is carried out for the purpose of: -Directly responsible for the workload, -unloading and safe transportation; -cargo handling on oil tankers.

The training is carried out in accordance with OSHA Regulations (17) The course is designed to: -train students to recognize the hazards associated with working in an area with possible hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) content and emergency response procedures.

Students are trained to achieve the competencies specified in the STCW Code in Tables A-II/1, A-II/2, A-III/1, A-III/2 and A-III/6. The course is prepared in order to: be able to apply leadership skills and work in a team; be able to use the skills of a leader and organizer.

Course assignment The STCW Designated Security Duties course takes one days to complete. After successful completion the student is awarded with the STCW (A-VI/6-2) certificate, which is valid for 5 years. Course Content: Security services, including piracy and armed robbery. How to recognize security breaches and threats. Security threat procedures. Inspection of security equipment. Updating and check of Ship Security Plan. The target audience: The STCW Designated Security Duties training (DSD) is aimed at all maritime personal, with exception of the Ship Security Officer, who is responsible for specific safety tasks. After completion of the STCW Designated Security training, the participant will be able to carry out assigned safety procedures. The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/2 (paragraph 2) of STCW Convention, Section A-VI/2 (paragraphs 7-10), Table A-VI/2-2 and the guidance given in Part B of the STCW Code. The course is carried out in order to: -Possess/update and supplementing theoretical knowledge and practical skills of ship's officers in management; -Organizing the use of fast rescue boats and understanding their role and responsibility in the system of ensuring safety of human life at sea in emergency situations and during operational and training usage of ship's life-saving equipment.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulations I/11, V/4 of the STCW Convention, as amended by Sections A-I/11 (para. 4), A-1/12, A-V/4 (Table A-V/4-1), B-1/12 (para. 68-70), B-V/g of the STCW Code. The course is prepared with the aim of: -Ability to contribute to the safe operation of ships in polar waters -understanding of ice characteristics and areas where different types of ice can be expected area of operation -understanding of ship operations in ice and low air temperature conditions -understanding of safe operation and maneuverability of the ship in ice -awareness to monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements -understanding the application of safe working practices and emergency response -understanding and awareness of proper crew training, working conditions and safety -understand the need to ensure compliance with pollution prevention requirements and -prevent environmental hazards and -understanding of maneuvering skills for safe operation of ships in polar waters.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation V/2 of the STCW Convention, Section A-V/2 and B-V/2, Tables A-V/2-1, A-V/2-2 of the STCW Code. The training is carried out in order to: -Gain knowledge of the use of emergency plans to ensure the safety and evacuation of passengers in the event of an emergency -Gain knowledge of the procedure for providing assistance to passengers on the way to the places of collection and boarding of rescue vehicles -Gain knowledge of conducting drills and alarms on passenger ships; -Gain knowledge of maintaining self-control in difficult conditions; -Gain knowledge of maintaining watertightness of the hull of Ro-Ro passenger vessels

Acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in rendering first aid in case of accident or sudden illness on board ship, in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/4 of STCW Convention, Section A-VI/4, paragraphs 1-3, Table A-VI/4-1 of STCW Code and Guidelines Training of students in order to - teach fast, correct and consistent first aid actions on board a ship to save lives and maintain vital functions until more qualified assistance is available, as well as to develop the confidence and readiness to act in extreme life-threatening conditions; - train in the use of the International Shipboard Medicine Guidelines for timely initial diagnosis, selection of the best method of first aid, treatment and medical care of a sick or injured person on board a ship; - train in certain skills of basic and first aid, aspects of medical care and treatment of a sick or injured person on board a ship; - train in the use of medical radio consultations, which are an integral part of first aid measures for a sick or injured person on board a ship;
