Engine-room Resource Management (Operational Level)

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulations I/12, II/1, II/2, VIII/2 of STCW Convention, Sections A-I/12 (part 1, 2), A-II/1, A-II/2, A-VIII/2 (part 2, 3, 4, 4-1), B-I/12 (paragraphs 68-69), B-VIII/2 (part 4-1)) of STCW Code. The course is prepared in order to: -study, renewal and consolidation of skills in the use of the entire complex of radio and electronic navigation equipment of the underway navigation bridge, information navigation systems and controls of the vessel being modeled to ensure safe navigation in all conditions; -work out teamwork on the bridge; -train to carry out a navigational watch in conditions of heavy shipping traffic and in conditions of a limited navigation area, both in daytime and at night, as well as in difficult weather conditions and in limited visibility; -train in maneuvering and controlling the ship in all conditions while navigating in areas with traffic distribution systems and areas controlled by traffic control services, as well as near such areas; -practice watchkeeping in difficult navigational and emergency situations, as well as acquiring skills in interaction with rescue and coordination centers and coastal services involved in emergency situations; -practice watchkeeping during pilotage, mooring operations with or without tugs in various wind, current and tide conditions and during anchoring and unanchoring of the vessel in any conditions; -acquire the minimum knowledge, understanding and professional skills listed in columns 1, 2 of Tables A-II/1, A-II/2 of the STCW Code; -achievement of the standard of competence required in accordance with the methods of demonstration of competence and criteria for assessing competence, which are given in columns 3 and 4 of tables A-II/1, A-II/2 of the STCW Code

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulations I/12, II/1, II/2, II/3 of the STCW Convention, Sections A-I/12 (Part 1, paragraphs 1-2), A-II/1, A-II/2, A-II/3, B-I/12 (paragraphs 36-66) of the STCW Code The training is carried out in order to: -understand the electronic mapping data; -Set for displaying data on the screen; -adjustment of electronic maps; -knowledge of the main types of ECDIS systems and their display characteristics; -practical use of electronic maps; -Ability to identify incorrect display of information and factors affecting the operation and accuracy of the system; -Awareness of the potential dangers of over-reliance on ECDIS; -Connecting the ECDIS to other navigation devices and systems; -Acquiring the minimum knowledge, understanding and professional skills listed in column 2 of tables A-II/1, A-II/2, A-II/3 of the STCW Code; -achievement of the standard of competence required in accordance with the methods of demonstrating competence and the criteria for assessing competence, which are given in columns 3 and 4 of Tables A-II/1, A-II/2, A-II/3 of the STCW Code.

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Rule V/1-1, V/1-2 of the STCW 78 Convention, sections A-V/1-1, A-V/1-2, B-I/12 (clause 71) of the STCW 78 Code. The course is prepared in order to: - use the simulator to acquire the necessary skills in loading and unloading liquid cargo, as well as ballast operations; - improve their skills in tanker operations, acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work in a team in various roles.

The training is carried out in accordance with Regulations III/1, III/2, III/3, III/6 of STCW Convention, as amended by sections A-III/1, A-III/2, A-III/3, A-III/6, B-III/2, B-III/3 of STCW Code. The course is prepared in order to: -Mastering/updating and supplementing theoretical knowledge and practical skills on issues related to the operation of shipboard high voltage power installations, taking into account the requirements of the STCW Code, changes in national and international regulations. -Practical demonstration of achievement of the competence standards specified in column 4 of Table A-III/6 of the STCW Code.

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the standards set out in paragraphs 1-4 of Section A-VI/2 of the STCW Code, Table A-VI/2-1 of the STCW Code The course is prepared in order to: -provide training and boarding of persons in life-saving equipment, safely launch and raise lifeboats and rescue boats and safely launch life rafts. - operate a rowing boat, or a motorized, inflatable and solid life raft, including in rough seas. - organize life support for victims in lifeboats and rafts after leaving the ship in emergency situations.

Acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in rendering first aid in case of accident or sudden illness on board ship, in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/4 of STCW Convention, Section A-VI/4, paragraphs 1-3, Table A-VI/4-1 of STCW Code and Guidelines Training of students in order to - teach fast, correct and consistent first aid actions on board a ship to save lives and maintain vital functions until more qualified assistance is available, as well as to develop the confidence and readiness to act in extreme life-threatening conditions; - train in the use of the International Shipboard Medicine Guidelines for timely initial diagnosis, selection of the best method of first aid, treatment and medical care of a sick or injured person on board a ship; - train in certain skills of basic and first aid, aspects of medical care and treatment of a sick or injured person on board a ship; - train in the use of medical radio consultations, which are an integral part of first aid measures for a sick or injured person on board a ship;

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of STCW Convention 78 and IMO Resolution MEPC.96 (47). The course is prepared in order to: - provide students with the necessary knowledge of ship bunkering, personal safety and marine pollution prevention; - gain basic knowledge of the production, sale and handling of fuel, as well as commercial, financial and economic issues of selling and buying marine fuel.

Watercraft operator on coastal sea routes (PMSh) and inland waterways (VVSh) Training is based on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of small/recreational vessel operators (MPS) to achieve the necessary competence for the safe operation of a watercraft on PMW and IW, namely the study and acquisition of: – provision of basic theoretical knowledge of navigation; – study of the structure of watercraft; – study of the navigation area and navigation conditions in that area at any time of day and season; – studying navigation rules and rules for preventing collisions between vessels; – studying the dangers associated with navigation; – studying the basics of navigation in weather conditions; – practical training in operating watercraft; – demonstration of knowledge and skills in operating a vessel.
