Description

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/2 (paragraph 2) of STCW Convention, Section A-VI/2 (paragraphs 7-10), Table A-VI/2-2 and the guidance given in Part B of the STCW Code.
The course is carried out in order to:
-Possess/update and supplementing theoretical knowledge and practical skills of ship's officers in management; -Organizing the use of fast rescue boats and understanding their role and responsibility in the system of ensuring safety of human life at sea in emergency situations and during operational and training usage of ship's life-saving equipment.

Required documents:

To register for a training course, you must provide copies of the following documents:

1. Ukrainian passport (1st, 2nd, 3d page and registration), or ID card (pages 1 and 2 and extract), or permanent/temporary residence permit;

2. Taxpayer registration number (VAT identification number) / (formerly identification number)

3. Working diploma with confirmation (for cadets: certificate from an educational institution, or cadet ticket, or record book);

4. Seaman’s identity card (1 page and last voyage);

5. Ukrainian passport for travel abroad (1 page);

6. Medical certificate;

6. Photo 3×4.

The training is carried out in accordance with the requirements of regulation VI/6 (paragraphs 1, 2) of the STCW Convention, section A-VI/6 (paragraphs 1-4), table A-VI/6-1 and the guidance given in Part B of the STCW Code. The course is prepared with the aim: -to provide basic knowledge of the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS, ISPS Code, STCW Convention related to safety issues; -to learn the necessary initial measures to ensure the security of the ship and crew; -training in the necessary initial measures to prevent unauthorized entry of unauthorized persons and objects onto the vessel; -training in the procedure of interaction of the ship's personnel involved in security with the security officers of the company and port facility; -Initial training on joint actions of the ship's crew and port facility security officers during cargo handling and ship's supply; -studying the procedure for informing the ship security officer about any deficiencies and inconsistencies identified during periodic ship security surveys and inspections and taking measures to eliminate them; -familiarization with the procedure for participation of the crew members in measures to enhance security and vigilance on board the vessel, etc. -familiarization with the procedure for operation of the main technical security equipment; -familiarization with the procedure for applying protective measures to counter terrorist and pirate attacks, etc; -The procedure for interaction between the vessel and security ships.

The training of students is carried out in accordance with the requirements of sections A-III/1, A-VIII/2 (parts 3, 4, 4-2), B-I/12 (paragraph 73), B-VIII/2 (part 4-2) of the STCW Code.
